The founders of Senior Home Connections are preparing for a future residential care home venture, planned under the name Cardinal House, because they believe smaller, personal environments deserve to be easier for families to understand. Cardinal House is not currently open, licensed, or available for referral. Today, Senior Home Connections is a placement guidance service — not a care home — and helps families explore homes that are available now, subject to our disclosed referral relationships and applicable Texas law.
Because Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 121 prohibits a referral agency from referring a consumer to a community in which the agency has an ownership, management, or financial interest, this paragraph — and any future connection between Senior Home Connections and Cardinal House — requires specific legal structuring and attorney approval before Cardinal House could ever be presented as a referral option.
