Privacy Policy

Last updated

This is placeholder draft content prepared for staging review only. It has not been approved by counsel and must not be published or relied upon as a final privacy policy. See LEGAL_LAUNCH_GATES.md for the full pre-launch checklist.

What this policy will need to cover

  • What information Senior Home Connections collects through the /schedule qualification form and calendar booking (name, contact method, general city/area, timing need, and any optional message), and that visitors are asked not to submit medical records, diagnoses, insurance numbers, or other sensitive details through the form.
  • How submitted information is stored, who has access to it, and how long it is retained.
  • Whether and how information may be shared with a specific residential care home, and that this only happens with the family’s clear, informed authorization at the appropriate point in the process — not automatically or by default.
  • How analytics and tracking are used on this site (see the event list in the master build specification), and confirmation that no personally identifying or care-related information is ever sent to analytics tools.
  • Consent language for any automated calls or texts, if that channel is used, including how to opt out.
  • Contact information for privacy questions or a request to access, correct, or delete information.
  • A review date and the name of the person/role responsible for keeping this policy current.

Why this is gated

Texas Business & Commerce Code §521.052 requires reasonable procedures to protect sensitive personal information, and separate rules apply to any automated calling or texting. An attorney familiar with Texas privacy law and telemarketing/consent rules needs to confirm the specific data flows this business actually uses before this page can be published as final. Until that review is complete, this page exists only as a structural placeholder.
